Louise V. Williams

    Louise V. Williams, 94, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, in Winslow. Graveside services were held Sept. 14 at Desert View Cemetery in Winslow.
   Louise was born on March 22, 1915, in Kansas City, Mo.
   She moved to Payson, and married P.C. (Penn) Carson Williams in 1932. Penn and Louise moved to Winslow, where Penn worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. Louise was a homemaker, whose cooking, baking, sewing and needlework skills were unsurpassed.
   Survivors include her daughter, Clara; son, Don; sister, Mary Alice; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous other descendants.
   She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Penn; son, Glenn; brother, Albert; and sister, Josephine.
   Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
