Sharon Hatch

    Loving, wife, mother and grandmother Sharon Amelia Downing Alexander Hatch, 70, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, in Tempe. Funeral services were held Nov. 3 at the Snowflake Temple View Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will be today (Nov. 4) in Tucson.
   She was born Jan. 17, 1939, in Gallup, N.M., to Oren Downing and Amelia Kirk Downing.
   She had a great love for people and animals.
   Sharon taught school for many years in Tucson.
   She was a faithful member of the LDS church.
   Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; one son, Dan Alexander; seven stepchildren, Vera Newton, Gerry Hatch, Donna Fuller, Larry Hatch, Amy Hatch, Alex Hatch and Ervin Hatch; one brother, Mark Downing; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.
   Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake was in charge of the arrangements.
