Frances Crossman

    Frances N. Crossman 72, of Overgaard passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, in Phoenix. Funeral services were held Nov. 21 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Heber. She was laid to rest in the Heber Cemetery.  
    Frances was born to George and Dorothy Lee Lewis on May 21, 1937, in Mesa.
    She was a graduate of Phoenix Union High School and attended Northern Arizona University.  
    She married Owen P. Crossman in 1966, and they had one daughter, Sandra. Frances worked as a bookkeeper, and was a member of the LDS church.  They lived in Mesa for 18 years and in Overgaard for the past five years.
    Survivors include her husband, Owen; her daughter, Sandra Mullins; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, George Lewis of Phoenix; and one sister, Margie Brangle of Phoenix.  
    She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Lewis; and a son-in-law Michael Mullins.   
    Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor was in charge of the arrangements.
