Paltha Sue Terry

    Paltha Sue Terry, 69, of Globe passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, in Snowflake.
   Paltha was born in San Mateo, Calif., on April 7, 1940, to Robert E. and Minnie Hicks Phillips.
   From 1958 to 1960 she served as a nurse in the U.S. Women’s Army Corps. She spent the remainder of her working life as a cosmetologist.
   Paltha had many interests in her life. She loved crocheting, knitting, traveling and camping.
   Survivors include three sisters, Clara Petty of Taylor, Retha Muder of Shumway and Frances Ashford of Kodiak, Alaska.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; both sets of grandparents, William and Sarah Riley Phillips, and Frank and Frances Hicks; and one brother, Gene Phillips.
   No formal services will be held.
   Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor was in charge of the arrangements.
