Students Thank Koury

Holbrook School Superintendent Mary Koury (left) received a warm thank you and appreciation from students at Park Elementary School May 20. The school recently planted an orchard of 85 fruit trees donated by members of the community. This new orchard has been aptly named the Mary Koury Community Orchard and Children’s Learning Center to commemorate the retiring superintendent’s dedication to the children of the district. Raven Katoney of Nichole Livingston’s kindergarten class was one of many students presenting Koury with an apple to fill her basket as a token of gratitude.
