Car Seat Safety

Officer Jed Koon of the Holbrook Police Department checks the fit of the straps on Shaylee Van’s car seat during a free child safety seat inspection. According to the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, up to 73 percent of child safety seats are not properly installed or adjusted. Safety seat inspections, including checking for proper installation of the seat, are offered free of charge to the public by the police department.
