Ray Newton, who served as a flight engineer in World War II, proudly displays an American flag in front of his Holbrook home in honor of Veterans Day. The Holbrook Elks Lodge and American Legion have planned a Veterans Day ceremony to honor those who have served their country at 11 a.m. today (Nov. 11) at the gazebo in the courtyard of the historic Navajo County Courthouse in downtown Holbrook. Marlin Gillespie will be the guest speaker. Everyone is invited to attend to support and honor all veterans. A potluck will follow at the Elks Lodge.
