Five-year old Zoe Daniels of Holbrook drew the winning names in The Tribune-News/Silver Creek Herald Christmas Contest. The first place winner was Alexis Denton of Winslow, who received $60 in gift certificates valid at sponsoring businesses. The second place winner was Jimmie Patterson, also of Winslow, who received $40 in gift certificates. Denton’s winning entry was made at Western Home and Auto in Winslow, and Patterson’s at Corner Feed and Tack, also in Winslow. Other sponsors are Jalapeños Restaurant in Holbrook, Pat’s House of Originals in Holbrook, Silver Creek Pharmacy in Taylor and Winslow Dental.
