Art And Science Join Hands To Recreate Skeletons Of The Past

Staff from Triebold Paleontology, including President Mike Triebold and Kerri MacMillan, spent about a week at Petrified Forest National Park recently creating casts and molds of specimens on display at the Rainbow Museum. They will now create new molds to replace those that are missing or deteriorating. “No one ever made master casts from the molds 30 years ago, some of the molds were lost, and the molds are getting fragile,” Triebold explained.
